"Ordinary Time"
Its a good
think for us to become familiar with the church calendar. "Ordinary
Time" occurs during the periods between Epiphany and Lent and
between Pentecost and Advent.
The term "Ordinary time" can make its own unique and valuable
contribution to our understanding. This period allows Sunday to be
preeminent. This is in accord with insights of our Reformed
tradition, for which the Lord's Day has always had a dominant role.
